The American Kenpo Taiji Association was founded in 1995 by Mr Athos Antoniades (6th Dan American Kenpo). The association was formed by Mr Antoniades for the purpose of teaching Kenpo as developed by the Late Master Ed Parker. He found it unacceptable that Kenpo is probably the most popular style in America and massive in other countries yet so thin on the ground in the UK. As a direct result of Mr Antoniades consuming drive and passion for Kenpo the AKTA has to date been successful in achieving its intended objectives with numerous articles and interviews already in print and others in the pipeline, the successful training tape 'Principles of American Kenpo' and short feature film 'The Chase' behind him and the film 'Ashes to Ashes' shortly to be released. Mr Antoniades is determined to ensure that the success and achievements of the AKTA will continue.
